Top half of the table can be the new aim for AFCB

"Forty is a magic number," well so says Steve Cook. The fact that the Cherries are on 41 points is a fantastic achievement with five games still to go. While I believe the club's ambitions for its first season in the Premier League have been realised already it is now about what the players want to do in finishing off the season. We have heard that we don't want to take their foot off the gas and yet how hard will that be not to do?
The Cherries can already look forward to next season.
It is quite something for AFCB fans to not be worrying about promotion or relegation. We have nothing to worry about and in a way that makes me feel more uncomfortable than usual.  While it would be fantastic to see the lads finish in the top half of the table, I'd dare not even think too deeply about it even with just these remaining few matches to go.

The virtual fact that Leicester are going to win the league opens lots of doors for other teams to wonder what they can truly achieve as well. A few games ago AFCB were sat several points below the likes of Watford and Everton and it did not look like they would put any pressure on such teams to finish possibly higher than them. Already that has turned around and there is a question of how high can the team finish now?

To finish the season with a points total somewhere between 41 and 50 points will be exciting as we can see that the side can be a lot closer to the very best teams next season if the summer recruitment is right. And thoughts are already starting to turn to the summer for the fans if not for the players.

  1. Where do we strengthen. ...or weaken...priority one..keep the management team in place....

Team wise...get mings fit...two defenders and a midfielder...would you give Ryan fraser a chance...no more forwards or wingers...new goalkeeper maybe
