What an exciting 24 hours for fans of the Cherries

In just 24 hours we have seen some £17m or so spent on Benik Afobe and the return of Lewis Grabban as Neill Blake and Eddie Howe plan the signings to keep AFCB going forward for another season in the Premier League. It has been beyond most peoples' wildest dreams to see the squad bolstered in such a way and so early in the transfer window. Taken together with the loan signing of Juan Iturbe, AFCB have made it clear to other teams in the bottom half of the table that they should FEAR US!
Yes, he's back!
The firepower now available to Eddie Howe is staggering. More importantly, the club has bought in players with quality and a point to prove and ambition that matches the club's and the fans' ambition to take this club to the next level. The club has always invested when it has felt it was need to compete with better squads and the calibre of player that is now at Dean Court is just incredible to see.

The players will already be enjoying the prospect of playing in a team that is driving itself to better things and hopefully it will charge up the league now. The financial power behind it has spoken and now it is down to the squad to see if it can deliver the performances to really get the fans behind them and Tuesday night will be one of those occasions when supporters should be in full voice to give the team that extra encouragement to go and get the three points on offer.

The messages of support in the last 24 hours for Lewis Graban and Benik Afobe have been great to see and I have a good feeling that Juan Iturbe will be a special player for AFCB. Thoughts will start to turn to whether AFCB can keep so many strikers at the club, but it was clear listening to captain Tommy Elphick on Cherries Player that he wants no one to leave and is himself somewhat taken back by the amount of attacking talent at the club. All AFCB need now is to see some of the long term injuries start to clear up and news on that is that Tommy Elphick is looking to make it back by the end of January having just gone into his second week of full training.

Suddenly I don't care who AFCB get in the FA Cup tonight, because whoever it is AFCB will give them a very hard game. UTCIAD!

We are ball No 13 by the way.

It's Ipswich or Portsmouth away for AFCB in Fourth Round of the FA Cup!
