Bournemouth fire power

The news that Eddie Howe is pleased with his current crop of strikers has got to be welcome news to the goal scorers we already have in the team. While I have no doubt that he would like to add to our forward options before the end of the transfer window loan options will still exist and unless AFCB has a really bad run of injuries there is nothing to say that the team can't hold its own in the Championship.

Josh McQuoid, let's see if he can start banging in the goals.

Grabban was previously untried at this level but has been hitting the back of the net on a regular basis. We know that Brett Pitman can score at this level and so can Wes Thomas. In Josh McQuiod we have a an extra card as he is capable of so much more than we have seen in the last 10 months or so at AFCB. I really hope that Josh takes his opportunity to shine. He will have seen how well Danny Ings has been doing at Burnley and must know that he is just as capable of such finishes in the Championship. I don't think Josh has been quite right since his return to the club and his operation may well now have sorted out the problems he has been carrying.

If Josh can get back to anything like what he was like at the start of the 2011-12 season we will have a striker that has razor sharp speed and a real passion for goal scoring. I remember when he went to Millwall and in one of the early games for them he picked up the ball on the half way line swerving past players as he got to within 25-30 yards of goal when he blasted a shot right into the top corner. That is the kind of fire power that we could well do with - over to you Josh.
