A quick fix is required

AFCB need a quick fix if they are to start finding some points before they become ensconced in the bottom three. The longer they remain in that position the more accepted it becomes that the Cherries are in for a difficult season. But a quick fix will require AFCB to stick with their philiosophy of attacking play, and it's strange that this has been almost non-existent in considering how few shots the Cherries have mustered in their first four league games.
AFCB will hope that playing at Dean Court can end their pointless run.
Eddie will have a few days ahead of the Brighton game to work with the players but from what he has been saying it is not just about what the players are doing in terms of tactics on the field. They know how AFCB play and they know their jobs, they simply have not been able to follow the instructions through or execute them well enough in a match situation.

Whether there is a communication difficulty or a mental block, Eddie Howe hasn't got his message over well enough so far and with the amount of work he does in analysing the opposition it's hard to believe that the plans to beat teams haven't been good enough.

Until that first win comes though, there will be growing doubts about the season ahead. That is why AFCB have to put a stop to this barren run as soon as possible. Had they got a point or two in their early games the next fixture against Brighton would not have been as big as it now is. But the players have to deal with the size of the game and for every eventuality in the forthcoming game.

Losing streaks are difficult to get out of, but AFCB must take confidence from how they play at home to Man City and  look to draw upon that.

In other news, Adam Federici has had his loan moved to Nottingham Forest rescinded having hurt his knee while on international duty.
