The Cherries new ruthlessness is well timed

You can't help thinking that the wins against Wolves and Fulham have charged to Cherries up for a real go at the remaining fixtures. The atmosphere at both those games helped to see the Cherries get back to their winning ways and the timing could not be any better as other sides have hit form patchily before slipping up just like the Cherries, which means everything is going to be very close between the top seven in the next few weeks.

Matt Ritchie was on target again twice at Fulham.
If you add his and Pugh's strikes together it
is like having another 20 goal a season player.

I had to look twice at the stats after the game when Eddie Howe said we played well but we have done better this season. I am not sure which parts of the game he would have liked to seen the team do better in but the possession was not that high at 58 per cent and Fulham were not so far off having as many shots as the Cherries on 19 compared to our players 25 shots. That means that Fulham did get opportunities to get in and there might be some need for further closing down and tightening in the midfield and back four to close teams out better. After all both Wolves and Fulham scored against the Cherries even if both games were pretty convincing wins for the Cherries.

The stat that really has been highlighted though is how ruthless AFCB were in front of goal at Craven Cottage. To have 12 shots on target during the 90 minutes and to make their keeper pick the ball out of the net fives times is no mean feat. With three players also getting AFCB's goal and none of them top scorer Callum Wilson it must be hard for other teams to know how you stop a team like the Cherries when they are in that kind of mood. Hopefully, the opponents in the remaining games don't figure out away to slow AFCB's scoring rate any time soon.

There's better news for Harry Arter today having been called up for Republic of Ireland's squad for their Euro  2016 Qualifier against Poland on 29 March. His first senior call up is well deserved and not before time so congratulations to Harry!
