Notts County can have a bucket and spade while AFCB take 3 points

AFCB have had some fabulous battles with Notts County over the last few seasons and I expect no less on Saturday, even if AFCB's opponents might prefer to be playing on Bournemouth's beach rather than at Dean Court with their season virtually over now. Sadly the beach isn't going to be warm enough for any sun batching just yet.

While the Magpie's play-off hopes were cut short last week by Yeovil's 2:1 away win at Meadow Lane,  the Nottingham team has been in the top half of the table virtually all season. Only in January did they start to slip to 14th in the league before mounting a recovery. They are the draw specialists away from home and the Cherries may find this a more difficult game than there last home outing against Scunthorpe.

Manager Chris Kiwomya will already be thinking about next season and has admitted that he will be looking to improve the magpie's forward line. He has only been in charge for two games and will have to rebuild over the summer.

Notts County recalled midfielder Joss Labadie this week from his loan spell at Torquay United. The 22 year old is expected to replace the suspended Alan Judge, who had scored their only goals in Notts County's last two games.

Jamaican midfielder Jamal Cambell-Ryce and Frenchman Yoann Arquin are the Magpie's top goal scorers on 8 this season. But isn't it great to know that Lee Hughes has moved on to Port Vale.

I have
always liked Neal Bishop who plays in midfield as he hardly ever puts in a sub-standard performance, so I will be watching how he does. Let's hope he is having to chase back all afternoon with Harry Arter and Eunan O'Kane giving him the run around.

Earlier in the season, in October, at Meadow Lane AFCB came from two goals behind to lead 2:3, before drawing 3:3 with a very different team than we will see on Saturday. Among the goals on that day were McQuoid, Arter and Tubbs.
